Fee Collection Policy

We collect the full tutoring fee upfront as part of our academy policy. This ensures full commitment from both sides and prevents any interruptions during the tutoring process.

Eligibility for Refund

5 Working Days Refund Window

  • You may request a refund within 5 working days from your first session’s start date.
  • The refund will be evaluated and processed based on the remaining sessions.
  • Sessions already attended will be deducted from the total amount.
  • If the tutor does not match your child, we can offer a tutor replacement (not a refund).

No Refund After 5 Working Days

Once 5 working days have passed after the session start date, no refunds will be issued.

Attended Sessions

Sessions that have already been attended are non-refundable.

Late Cancellations

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session are not eligible for a refund.

Ongoing Classes

After the first 5 days, refunds are not available, but you may choose between:

  • Switching to a different tutor
  • Continuing with the current tutor

Changing the Tutor

If the assigned tutor does not meet your expectations, we can provide a new tutor within the first 5 working days at no extra cost.

Once contacted, the refund process will begin. It may take 7–10 business days. Refunds are issued through the original payment method.

Policy Changes

Roots Home Tutors reserves the right to update or modify this refund policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page and become effective immediately.
